The Game
In school we are taught about science, math, sex education, and other subjects that are useful as we take our journey into what we know as life. But wouldn't life be a little easier if someone took the time to explain relationships and dating. This game with unwritten rules that we get caught up in.
Who are the players, men and women. That's right guys, women are players too. Really, lets put our egos aside for a minute and think back to that girl that used your heart for a yo-yo...yep, you were PLAYED!
Or the girl you used to carry books for her in school, walk her to class, and help with her homework only for her to turn around and date some other guy...yep,PLAYER!
Funny thing is the same girl will get her heart broken by that other guy and then come crying to you. And we'll be there for her...The shoulder to cry on...only to get played again.
"Nice guys finish last", this must had been a phrase intended for the rules of the game. It's the nice guys that get played the most. It can be obvious to us that we are being played, but the "nice guy" will be blinded to the fact, in hopes that he's wrong and she's different. A little piece of advice nice guy, WAKE THE HELL UP!!!
If a girls a true player, she won't change. She will keep you on a string, eating your hopes away ("The yo-yo effect"). There are different levels of players, but I'll cover that in a future blog.
Here are a few signs to look for to see if you are getting played.
1. She goes out with other guys, but never seems to have time for you.
2. Only calls you when she has a problem.
3. Lets you talk about your feelings, but quickly changes the subject when it is her turn.
I'll follow up with part II later, till then PLAY, but don't be PLAYED!
